Why I Built HisabDo

Every entrepreneur has a story behind their product. For me, that story started with a simple observation.

Throughout my professional journey as a Software Engineer, I noticed that many small businesses, shopkeepers, freelancers, and entrepreneurs still relied on traditional paper registers to manage their financial records.

Customer balances, expenses, receivables, and business transactions were often written manually, creating challenges in organization, accuracy, and long-term record keeping.

A Problem Hidden in Plain Sight

While large companies were benefiting from modern software solutions, many small businesses were still managing critical financial information using methods that had remained unchanged for decades.

I repeatedly observed situations where business owners spent significant time maintaining records manually instead of focusing on growth and customer relationships.

This gap inspired me to think differently.

The Beginning of an Idea

I began exploring how technology could simplify financial management for everyday business owners.

The goal was not to build another complex accounting system. Instead, I wanted to create something simple, practical, and accessible.

A solution that anyone could use regardless of technical background.

That vision eventually became HisabDo.

Building HisabDo

HisabDo was designed to help individuals and businesses manage customer accounts, track expenses, monitor receivables, and maintain organized financial records in a user-friendly environment.

Every feature was developed with simplicity and usability in mind.

The objective was straightforward: help users spend less time managing records and more time focusing on what matters most—their business.

Why Offline First?

One of the most important decisions during development was adopting an offline-first approach.

I understood that not every user has access to reliable internet connectivity at all times.

The application needed to remain useful regardless of location or network conditions.

This philosophy became one of the core foundations of the product.

Lessons from Entrepreneurship

Building a product as an independent founder comes with challenges.

Every decision, feature, and improvement requires learning, experimentation, persistence, and continuous adaptation.

There are moments of uncertainty, but those moments also provide opportunities for growth.

Entrepreneurship is not only about building products—it is about solving problems and creating value.
